Position Summary

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our Purification team.  S/he will assist with the purification of antibodies using Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography. The successful candidate should have basic knowledge of laboratory experience, good communciation skills and be highly collaborative.


  • Benchtop purification as well as purifications performed robotically
  • Responsibilities for this position will also include inventory management, data entry and solution preparation
  • Researches and identifies opportunities for process and protocol improvements
  • Effectively follows SOPs and produces consistent results and throughput metrics
  • Stays current with scientific research and demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
  • Mentor and guides others in scientific and technical matters. Can direct the efforts of others (e.g. summer interns) on small projects with assistance
  • Plans own work effectively with limited guidance
  • Obtains required information independently, asks appropriate questions and seeks guidance as necessary


  • BS Degree in related science - Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry
  • 1-2 years of related laboratory experience, including pipetting, making buffers, etc. 
  • Broad scientific skills and fundamental understanding of biological processes
