Position Summary

Our Production Team is seeking a Research Associate to support production, management, and characterization of a variety of products, including antibodies, assay kits and companion products. This is an entry-level position responsible for a wide variety of activities, including bench work and coordination of product related activities.


  • Work closely with Product Scientists and others to produce and validate new lots by performing scientific experiments including, but not limited to, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, ELISA experiments and cellular assays with direct supervision
  • Understand and follow standard operating protocols and laboratory practices designed to enable efficient processes on a consistent basis to produce reliable data
  • Produce and record data that is clear and interpretable
  • Work with tissue culture and generate lysates with oversight from a Product Scientist
  • Communicate and support the coordination of a variety of product related activities with various internal departments which may include:
  • Clinical Applications teams for sample submissions
  • Filling and Assembly to coordinate packaging and product filling needs
  • Shipping and Receiving for product transfers
  • Buffer prep team to manage internal use buffers
  • Recognize and maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation in accordance with CST policy, including hard copy notebooks and product development electronic systems as necessary


  • Bachelor's degree in a biological science (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology)
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, and Google Docs or related applications
