Position Summary

CST is searching for a highly creative Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced, innovative team!  The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with product marketing, creative services, regional marketing and sales to develop and implement global promotional plans, which generate repeatable, predictable and sustainable results. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications, you will have customer engagement and lead-generating metrics and accountabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific base in order to drive the creation of scientific communications.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and execute the portfolio marketing plan to support short and long-term business objectives
  • Manage, develop and execute targeted lead-generation campaigns that result in sales ready opportunities, accelerated opportunity velocity and maximized ROI
  • Work with product management and creative services teams to develop campaign requirements, content and creative to support targeted, personalized and measurable marketing campaigns
  • Create sales tools that support the commercial team and convey CST’s value proposition
  • Work closely and build strong relationships with IT and digital team to maximize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to drive both quantity and quality of leads, and improve conversion to opportunities to grow demand and drive increased revenue
  • Be accountable for customer engagement metrics
  • Provide support to global field sales and marketing organization in implementation of programs to drive lead generation and awareness activities to meet revenue goals
  • Improve the effectiveness of marketing programs through better targeting and better user experience design across digital channels including CST websites
  • Effectively utilize marketing automation and Salesforce® tools for digital engagement
  • Leverages KOL relationships for customer engagement marketing, events and customer testimonials
  • Edits, proofreads and fact-checks copy for brand consistency, clarity and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or research experience at the MS/PhD level in Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Epigenetics or related field.
  • 5+ years Marketing experience and 1+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience using marketing automation and Salesforce® tools for digital engagement
  • Commercial/marketing experience or experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience developing in-bound marketing strategies with an emphasis on digital marketing technologies

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in the BioPharma Industry
  • Mastery of marketing automation functions within Salesforce® and working knowledge of email automation software
  • Excellent writing and content development skills
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and building fully integrated global marketing campaigns
  • Deep understanding and experience of optimizing marketing channel / promotional mix to meet growth objectives
  • Solid knowledge of internet technologies including those involving content management, web analytics, search engine marketing, email marketing, web site usability, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to define clear objectives with related KPIs, and to show results against defined objectives
  • Excellent communication skills and evidence of building strong relationships with internal and external customers
