Position Summary

CST is searching for a customer-focused Senior Account Manager Western Germany to join our European Sales team.  The successful Senior Account Manager will (over)achieve revenue goals by employing a defined sales methodology for off-the-shelf products, bulk products, and eligible services with customers located in the Western part of Germany. Responsibilities

  • To promote sales of Cell Signaling Technology product portfolios, attaining and/or exceeding territory budgetary goals through sales success across key product areas
  • To develop specific account strategies, account portfolios, and territory business plans
  • To present and report competitive product information and competitor activity to the European Sales Director
  • To develop and maintain account plans and do frequent customer visits
  • To conduct presentations, seminars and workshops to our customers
  • To support our local marketing team in the development of campaigns and promotions
  • To analyze the assigned key account’s organizational structure and to acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.To identify and maintain a trustworthy network of key individuals/opinion leaders out of purchasing, R&D, legal, finance at designated key accounts
  • To expand the relationships with existing networks by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • To negotiate, close and live frame contracts being the CST sales owner of these agreements
  • To understand the key account’s budget & funding position
  • To strive to maximum customer satisfaction
  • To maintain customer database, accurate quarterly forecasting and opportunity management
  • To execute administrative responsibilities: Monthly reports, expenses, forecasting, and other operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and understanding in the field of Immunology
  • At least 5 years proven sales experience in Life Science
  • Experience in a lab environment is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of German and EnglishThis role is field based
