Position Summary

CST has a world class CSR program that promotes and drives sustainability and employee engagement initiatives, with a strong focus on continuously reducing our environmental impact.  We are looking for a high energy, execution oriented individual to join our CSR team as the Sustainability Coordinator.  This individual will be expected to bring new and innovative sustainability ideas to the Company and be the catalyst to champion them through to completion. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of both long and short term sustainability objectives based on the UN Sustainability framework
  • Be the Company sustainability champion and advocate
  • Be on the forefront of sustainability initiatives being implemented worldwide and provide a continuous pipeline of ideas for consideration
  • Work with our global organizations to develop, implement and lead all environmental and sustainability employee programs worldwide
  • Work closely with our facilities and safety organizations to implement key programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a sustainability role
  • Program/project management experience
  • Experiences in 2 or more of the following areas:
    • Energy Use and Benchmarking
    • Waste Management
    • Greenhouse Gas Emissions
    • Industry Sustainability Trends
    • Strategic Philanthropy
    • Education tools
    • External networking
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Familiarity with LEED, Energy Star, COP21, Climate Leaders, etc. is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to generate ideas
