    Position Summary

    Cell Signaling Technology is seeking a strategic, collaborative, experienced and execution-oriented Human Resources Director to join our fast-paced and global team. This role offers a mix of high impact strategic initiatives, talent management and foundational HR responsibilities.  Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Global Human Resources, the HR Director will have overall responsibility for providing HR Business Partner support to all business/functional vice presidents with the primary focus on Global Commercial and IT/Digital organization.  This will include organization design, development, succession planning, coaching, mentoring, compensation planning and change management.  The Director will have two direct reports who will also focus on business partnering to the other organizations (Global Operation, R&D, Finance, Legal, Corporate Strategy).   The successful candidate will join as a succession candidate for the Sr. VP HR position.  We are looking for a highly motivated, engaging person who can build credible and effective relationships with Leadership Team of the Company and all levels of the company.  CST has a special culture that places high value on Science, Quality of Science, Employee and Corporate Social Responsibility.  The successful candidate will need to embrace these values and our culture.   


    • Work with the SVP of Global HR and Department Leaders to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build needed organization capabilities and support continued business growth
    • Build succession plans with specific, actionable development plans for employees on the succession plan
    • Engage and listen to all employees in the organization and take action, as appropriate
    • Be a role model for our values and help all employees embrace and develop our culture
    • Work across functional areas to build partnerships and provide seamless human resources services to clients
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to implement best practices in the recruitment, staffing and on-boarding of exceptional talent
    • Partner with management to develop and execute plans that optimize talent, structure, process and culture
    • Assist in leading workforce planning and talent planning processes to drive a high level of performance and collaboration in alignment with the company's goals, mission and culture
    • Serve as a resource to employees and leaders in facilitating the resolution of internal issues and conflicts 
    • Assist managers in addressing performance issues and improving employee performance, including providing guidance on effective coaching and counseling


    • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Human Resources preferred)
    • 15 - 20 years of progressive HR experience
    • Strong business acumen skills
    • Experience designing and executing scalable HR processes
    • Strong client relations skills
