    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Product Scientist to join our fast-paced, highly collaborative Production team.  Product Scientists work as part of the Production Team to produce, manage, characterize and provide technical support for a variety of products including antibodies, assay kits and companion products. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of activities including bench work (estimated 40% of the time), product customer/technical support/service (30%) and coordination of product related activities (30%).


    • Produce quality product lots to ensure availability for customer orders
    • Worksclosely with Product Development to ensure timely release of new products
    • Design and complete scientific experiments including western blots, immunoprecipitation, tissue culture, transfections, ELISAs, assays, and affinity purifications in support of producing and characterizing product lots with limited guidance
    • Consistently follow protocols and is able to produce quality data with minimal instructions on work
    • Draw appropriate conclusions to moderately complex experiments with limited guidance
    • Assist customers with product related questions by phone and email, answering most technical inquiries independently
    • Use online research tools and literature searches to support experimental design and to resolve technical support issues
    • Manage inventory of products and coordinates availability with Global Supply Chain teams to fulfill customer orders
    • Worksclosely with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of product data sheets and customer messaging


    • Bachelors degree in a biological science (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology)
    • 5+ years of laboratory bench work experience
    • Domain knowledge of multiple signaling pathways and their interdependencies
    • Experience working with antibodies including western blotting, ELISA, and immunoprecipitation techniques
    • Experience with mammalian cell culture, transfections and protein work

    • Computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Docs, or related applications.
    • Masters degree in a biological science (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology). PhD a plus
    • Working knowledge of technical support tools (e.g. Salesforce.com)
    • Strong comfort level and understanding of workflow tools a plus
