    Position Summary

    CST is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our Production team.  The successful candidate will work as part of the Production Team to support the production, management, and characterization for a variety of products, including antibodies, assay kits and companion products. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of activities including bench work and coordination of product related activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with Product Scientists to produce and validate new product lots
    • Perform Western Blotting, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA experiments
    • Perform cellular assays
    • Consistently follow protocols and produce quality data
    • Produces and records data which is clear and interpretable
    • Work with tissue culture and generate lysates
    • Coordinate a variety of product related activities internally within the team and externally with other departments including filling and assembly to ensure product availability
    • Contribute to inventory management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in a biological science (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or biotechnology)
    • Experience with MS Office Suite, and Google Docs or related applications

    • Demonstrates broad scientific skills and display fundamental understanding of biological processes
    • Understanding and ability to execute on basic experimental design and protocols
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    • Willingness to learn new techniques
    • Ability to design and perform experiments independently
