    Position Summary

    We are searching for an Accountant to join our highly collaborative Finance department.  The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that CST’s business transactions are properly processed and recorded in accordance with established internal controls, accounting processes and policies and analyzing financial reports and forecasts.


    • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, including:
      • Preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves, intercompany transactions and eliminations, uploading of foreign subsidiary ledgers to Oracle
      • Review of departmental spend against budget and investigations variances to budget
    • Conduct monthly close procedures, including shared responsibility for preparation of monthly reporting package
    • Shared management of fixed assets, including preparation of monthly roll-forward, depreciation posting, asset tracking and monthly reporting
    • Process vendor payments, including, but not limited to, monthly rents, legal invoices and royalties. (approximately 40% of role)
    • Identify opportunities for automation/process improvements to increase efficiency within Finance
    • Document key controls and processes, as directed by Corporate Controller
    • Provide basic financial analysis and support to budget owners
    • Act as a Key contributor on cross-functional project teams
    • Special projects and analysis, as needed


    • BS in Accounting
    • 5+ Years of related experience
    • Experience with Oracle, including GL, Fixed Assets, AR/AP
    • Experience with Excel

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form
    • Ability to work effectively within a small, cohesive finance team
    • Ability to interact with external auditors and resolve issues quickly under supervision of Corporate Controller/Corporate Accounting Manager
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
